Since the beginning of the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine, the total combat losses of the enemy have been more than 12,000 troops, 317 tanks, 49 planes and 81 helicopters. This was reported by the General Staff of Ukraine, Ukrainian Pravda reports.
“From 24 February to 9 March, the losses of the Russian side are: “More than 12,000 people, 317 tanks, 120 artillery systems, 1070 BBMs, 56 MLRS, 28 air defense systems, 49 aircraft, 81 helicopters, 482 vehicles, 3 ships, 60 tanks with fuel and 7 UAV,” the agency said.
It should be reminded that early in the morning of 24 February; Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation in Ukraine, aimed at ensuring the security of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as removing the “Nazi regime” in Ukraine.
The United States and the European Union have described Russia’s move as a direct aggression by Russia against Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
The Verkhovna Rada has declared martial law in Ukraine.
