The servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are leaving their positions en masse, laying down their weapons. The Russian Defense Ministry reported on 24 February, citing intelligence. Izvestia reported.
The Ministry stressed that the positions of the Ukrainian armed forces, which laid down their weapons, were not hit. The Russian armed forces do not strike at Ukrainian cities. The civilian population is not threatened by anything, the Ministry of Defense pointed out.
“The statement of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine V. Zaluzhny about the alleged losses of Russian planes and armored vehicles is a complete lie,” the statement reads.
