Due to the aggravation of the situation around Ukraine, the operation of 12 airports in the south of Russia has been temporarily suspended. RIA Novosti reported.
“Due to the aggravation of the situation around the situation in Ukraine , from 24 February, 2022, 03.45 Moscow time, flights to a number of airports in southern Russia are temporarily limited. The restriction is valid until 03.45 Moscow time, 2 March , 2022,” the message says.
Airports temporarily suspended:
Rostov (Platov Airport),
Krasnodar (Pashkovsky Airport),
Anapa (Vityazevo Airport),
Gelendzhik,
Elista,
Stavropol,
Belgorod,
Bryansk,
Orel,
Kursk,
Voronezh,
Simferopol.
“The Russian aviation authorities do not advise the passengers of the next flights, those who meet them to arrive at the airports,” the statement reads.
