The American military will not fight in Ukraine in case of “invasion” of the Russian army.

Pentagon Spokesman John Kirby announced on MSNBC on Sunday.

“The President [US Joe Biden] has made it clear that US troops will not fight in Ukraine,” he said.

According to Kirby, the use of US troops even to evacuate American citizens from the country “will increase the risk of miscalculations, increase the likelihood of a clash between Russian and US forces,” which, according to a Pentagon spokesman, will take the situation to a “new level.”
