In Orenburg, a pack of stray dogs attacked a girl, injuring her.  A criminal case is initiated:  RIA Novosti reported.

The Investigative Division of the North Administrative District of the Orenburg Region, based on the results of a preliminary investigation of information about the attack of stray animals on a young girl, has initiated a criminal case on negligence of officials of the Department of Housing and Communal Services.

Investigators say that in violation of federal and regional law, officials at the Orenburg administration’s housing and communal services department did not properly organize the catching, transporting and keeping stray animals, despite the unfavorable situation in the city.

“According to preliminary data, on 12 February, stray dogs attacked a 13-year-old girl on Bebel Street in Orenburg, as a result of which she was injured,” the control body reported.

Recently, stray dogs have attacked people several times in different regions of Russia, including deadly ones.

It should be mentioned that in January in the village of Domna in Transbaikalia, animals killed a seven-year-old girl.
