Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Samvel Pipoyan wrote on his Facebook page:

“Yerevan Lake today.

As you know, for a couple of weeks the lake was completely drained for cleaning (at least I knew that it was). Now it is full of water again, but now there is more garbage floating on the water, and there is no reduction of garbage on the shores at all. On the contrary, it has increased. If this continues, we will soon have a landfill in the heart of Yerevan instead of a lake.”
