Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Armenia Lynne Tracy.

Rustam Badasyan presented to the Ambassador the SRC’s reform agenda for the coming years, emphasizing the modernization of border customs checkpoints, the commitment to make customs clearance procedures completely electronic, as well as the vision of training customs officers and developing new criteria for their selection.

The Chairman of the State Revenue Committee praised the US Government’s support in the field of customs and tax administration provided for many years.

US Ambassador Lynne Tracey expressed her readiness to actively support the implementation of mutually beneficial reforms.
