The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Arshak Karapetyan introduced the newly appointed commander of the military unification , Colonel Alexander Tsakanyan to the staff and subordinate subdivisions of the third military unification. According to “Zinuzh Media”, the Defense Minister praised Colonel Tsakanyan’s contribution to the army building and defense of the homeland, expressing confidence that the military unification  headed by the newly appointed commander will fully fulfill its tasks.

At the same time, Minister Karapetyan strictly instructed to stop all the enemy’s attempts to cross the Armenian border. “The enemy should not even think of penetrating our territory in any way. That is your problem. For that, the corps commander and the commanders of the military unit, the commanders of the subdivisions, starting from the commander of the position, have all the rights to use all the means to protect our borders. At the same time, we do not want any escalation in any direction, but if they try to penetrate our territory, I order all of you to use all means so that these tendencies do not succeed,” the minister said.
