Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Vladimir Zhirinovsky, commenting on the note filed by Azerbaijan because of his statements, said that he highly appreciates the country’s President Ilham Aliyev, and also has the right to express his opinion.
“We are there [in the South Caucasus region], we were asked. And I, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, are against it. Deal for yourself. So what kind of protest notes can there be?” – he said, answering a TASS question.
Zhirinovsky noted that he has repeatedly called “Ilham Aliyev a wise leader.” “His father Heydar Aliyev was even better. I praised both Ilham Aliyev and his father. And if some officials do not think well and decided to hand over a note to the Charge d’Affaires, then they don’t know about freedom of speech? ”- continued the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party.
