The Russian delegation in Baku wants to outline steps to resolve the issues in Nagorno Karabakh.

“We aim at the full, conscientious implementation of all agreements on the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Yesterday (during the meeting with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev) we discussed in detail the existing problems. I hope that today we will be able to outline concrete steps to resolve the existing issues. Of course, the situation is not easy, it has not been resolved for many years,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

Speaking about the relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, the Russian Foreign Minister noted that “there are many issues between the countries, but not problems. Their number is due to the fact that the relations are very rich. They are getting richer every day, covering all possible areas of human activity, from political dialogue, trade, economy, investment, humanitarian ties, educational, cultural contacts, and, of course, international politics.”
