Today, President Armen Sarkissian received the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia Vahram Dumanyan.

The Minister presented to the President of the Republic the situation, the work being carried out in the spheres under his control, as well as the vision and programs of development.

President Sarkissian noted that the ministry coordinates areas of crucial importance for the future of our country, each of which is extremely important and requires a lot of work. The President said that the system needs serious attention and changes, which should be exclusively aimed at increasing the efficiency of governance, competitiveness and development.

The meeting referred to the legislative package “On Higher Education and Science” authored by the Government and adopted by the National Assembly.
