The “Civic Council” initiative, founded by Commandos, Arkady Ter- Tadevosyan published his political will, which was written on 10 November, 2020.

The will states:

“Dear compatriots,

Today, the fate of the Armenian people depends on us as never before. We must be able to maintain the stability of our state and its system of governance. We have no right to give in to emotions and to allow steps that will further complicate the current situation.

I see an opportunity to unite all the healthy forces of our society, the Armenian intelligentsia, public and political figures, to find the right solutions to get out of this situation.

You all know very well, I am an ordinary officer who honestly payed his duty on the battlefield, and now I continue to pay my debt to our Homeland. I do not pursue any political or personal goals. I also call on all others who play any significant social role today to rise above narrow political, corporate or other interests.

I think that in order to find a way out of this situation, it is necessary to create a Civic Council, which will include representatives of the intelligentsia, public politicians, whom our society trusts. I can coordinate the activities of this public body. The Civil Council will work at 5 Arshakunyats Street, you can contact us at 010 52 6465 or 091 35 8928.
