The Government of the RA approved the concept of providing alternative social services and care of the individuals with mental health problems.

Specifically, it is foreseen to establish an all day round Care Home and community daily center as well as to purchase or rent at least 10 flats or one detached house to found a support dwelling during the upcoming five years.

Operation of the latter will provide opportunity to use these services for around 300 individuals with mental health problems.

The issue of the alternative military service was discussed at the session as well. In response to the Prime Minister’s question when the opportunities for the alternative military servicemen would be in established, the RA Minister of Justice indicated the military draft of this fall.
