Anna Naghdalyan, spokeswoman for the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commented on the decision of the RA Government to terminate the tenure of Clark-Hattingh as UNICEF Representative in the Republic of Armenia.

“The shortcomings of the UNICEF Representative in Armenia Marianne  Clark-Hatting in the implementation of her mandate – the non-cooperative style of work – was problematic for the Armenian side, so the Armenian government decided to terminate Clark-Hatting’s tenure as UNICEF Representative in the Republic of Armenia. The decision was made known to the UN Resident Coordinator and UNICEF representatives,” Anna Naghdalyan said.
