Residents of Syunik region have started repairing real estate damaged during the September-November 2020 war with compensation provided by the Armenian government. Syunik regional administration reported.
“Compensation is provided to the residents of Nerkin Khndzoresk community of Goris community and Davit Bek settlement of Kapan community.
The specialists of Syunik Marzpetaran together with the employees of the community administrations carried out the study of the damaged property in two stages.
Immediately after the end of the hostilities, 57 houses in Davit Bek were surveyed and their owners have already received a total compensation of 30 million 443 thousand drams. In recent days, another 34 houses have been studied in David Beck.
In Nerkin Khndzoresk 16 houses have already received compensation in the total amount of 14 million 196 thousand drams, another 15 houses have been studied in the second stage.
At the moment, the results of the second stage measurement are being calculated in the regional administration, and the data will be sent to the RA government,” the statement reads.
