Quarantine in Armenia will be extended for another 6 months. The spokesperson of the Minister of Health Alina Nikoghosyan informed about this in a conversation with Iravaban.net.
According to Alina Nikoghosyan, the proposal was made taking into account the epidemic situation caused by the coronavirus․ “We have hundreds of cases every day that is why the quarantine is extended.”
According to her, no changes were proposed in the draft sent to the Government․ “The current anti-epidemic rules will remain in force, it will be mandatory to wear masks in open and closed areas for another half a year, to keep social distance. Those who do not follow the rules can be fined by the police.”
It should be reminded that on 11 September, the government made a decision to establish a quarantine for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) until 11 January, 2021, with the mentioned restrictions.
