Vladimir Putin extends condolences to Emanuel Macron: Particular indignation is caused by the cynical and cruel crime

Vladimir Putin sent a telegram to President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron in which he expressed his deep condolences over the tragic consequences of the terrorist attacks in France. The Kremlin press service reported.

The telegram, in particular, notes:

“Particular indignation is caused by the cynical and cruel crime committed within the walls of the church. We have once again made sure that the concept of human morality is absolutely alien to terrorists. It is obvious that the fight against international terror requires a real pooling of efforts by the entire world community. “

Vladimir Putin reaffirmed the readiness of the Russian side for the closest cooperation with French and other foreign partners in all areas of counter-terrorism activities.

The President of the Russian Federation also stressed that the Russians share the anger and grief of the people of France, and conveyed words of the most sincere sympathy to the families and friends of the victims.

It should be added that today, on 29 October, in the center of the French city of Nice, near Notre Dame, a man armed with a knife attacked the people there and there are three victims, one of whom was beheaded and wounded. The attack was described as terrorism. The criminal was arrested. The assailant is injured.

In the French city of Avignon, a man tried to stab the policemen. According to preliminary data, the attacker was killed. No other details are known.
