As a Result, our Children will suffer: Zhanna Andreasyan appeals to the Parents

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan wrote on her Facebook page, “Dear parents, I appeal to you because I know how anxious you are for your children, you are happy with every step they make, you worry about every problem.

I apply as a parent who also has a child under 12 years, who goes to a regular public school, three days a week, puts on a mask, disinfects hands, and follows the rules.

I know that last spring many of you, along with the good aspects of distance education, like me, not as an official but as a parent, saw the problems, understood how important the going to school is, and the full time education.

I am sure you also understand that the transition of schools to total distance education creates a big gap in the development of our children, which will require a lot of effort to complete, without a guaranteed result.

Going to school is today’s top priority.

It is the problem of all of us.

Because, as a result, our children will suffer. Just as we cannot predict yet. And its impact on public development will surely be felt for a long time and in many layers.

Dear parents, not only are we accustomed to saying that education is important, but education is really important for all of us.

Let’s follow the rules to go to school.

This is the only call and request. The real danger is not in keeping the rules, but in not being able to go to school after not following them.”
