Yerevan is not going to ask Russia for additional arms supplies, the existing weapons are enough to ensure the country’s security, Armenian Ambassador to Moscow Vardan Toganyan told RIA Novosti.

“At present, there is no need for additional supplies,” the ambassador said, answering the question whether Armenia will apply to the Russian Federation for additional arms supplies in connection with the escalation of the situation on the border with Azerbaijan.

It should be reminded that since 12 July, the situation in the north-eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has worsened due to the Azerbaijani aggression.
