Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces, headed by Minister David Tonoyan and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan.

The RA Armed Forces Senior Officer briefed the Prime Minister on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the direction of Tavush, the operative situation created by the hostilities unleashed by the enemy in the last two days, and the punitive steps taken by the Armenian armed forces to suppress the enemy.

It was emphasized that the situation is under the full control of the RA Armed Forces.

During the meeting, the possible developments in the situation and the adequate actions of the Armed Forces were discussed.

Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that the RA Armed Forces once again prove that we cannot be talked to from a position of force.
