RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan and Deputy Prime Minister, Commandant Tigran Avinyan discussed further steps during the live broadcast.
Arsen Torsyan noted that the increase in the number of infected people in recent days is connected with several factors, starting from the fact that we have had facts of easing the restrictions, as well as certain cases of outbreaks, when the rules have not been well observed.
“Today we have 65 citizens in serious condition and 35 in critical condition, nine of whom are connected to artificial lung ventilation. This is not a big burden for the healthcare system yet. Today, we can actively conduct 3-4 thousand cases. We currently have 850 patients in hospitals, and about 350 people are in hotels. The big problem is that we should at least move forward in a straight line, that is, we should not go beyond our maximum, so that we do not have to provide medical care in non-hospital conditions,” the Minister said.
