Health Ministry spokeswoman Alina Nikoghosyan issued a statement informing that a 72-year-old patient infected with coronavirus has died.

“Nork Infectious Disease Clinical Hospital has reported a death. The 72-year-old patient who had coronavirus disease, as well as bilateral pneumonia, polyurethane insufficiency, respiratory distress syndrome, hypertension, and heart rhythm disorder. Unfortunately, due concomitant illnesses his life was not saved.

The patient was in the resuscitation department since yesterday and the condition has been assessed as extremely grave.”
