The spread of coronavirus is accelerating worldwide. The Director General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated.
He noted that according to the WHO, more than 300,000 people worldwide are infected with coronavirus, there are cases of the virus in almost all countries of the world and the spread of the pandemic is accelerating.
The WHO Director said that 67 days have passed from reporting the first case of infection when the number of infected reached 100,000, the number of infected in just 11 days reached 200,000 and in 4 days – 300,000.
