The Government of the Republic of Armenia reports that in view of rising concerns about rising food prices and pressing shortages in the press and social networks, the shortage of goods in the commodity market and a number of other issues, the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia decided today to issue warning to business entities and subjects that sell food and essential goods.
The Commission considers it appropriate to report that, in a state of emergency, the fact of economic offenses will be regarded as an aggravating circumstance, urging to refrain from actions and conduct that may violate the provisions of economic competition law.
