On 4 March, Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan held a consultation with the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to discuss the current situation caused by coronavirus.

The Minister instructed to continue close cooperation at the interdepartmental and local government levels, in accordance with the policy adopted by the Ministry, to take preventive actions. In particular, to inform citizens on effective methods of protecting against coronavirus, to ensure maximum sanitary-hygienic-environmental protection in the Ministry’s structural units, in strict communication with people, in strict compliance with the norms set by the Ministry of Health.

At the end of the meeting, the Minister urged not to ignore the danger, not to panic and to take preventive measures effectively.
