The Yerevan municipality has issued a statement that the metro stations and trains are being disinfected.

The process was touched upon by the Ministry of Health. “The Ministry of Health has not yet submitted a proposal for disinfection in the metro. The video released by the Yerevan Metro is neither disinfection nor damp cleaning.

Therefore, we urge to consult with the Ministry of Health when undertaking such work to obtain professional advice and to fully organize the process.

Moreover, in the near future, the Ministry will make such a proposal and will present a guideline according to which disinfection activities should be carried out if necessary.”
