On 28 February, Health Minister Arsen Torosyan signed a new decree ordering a specification of state and treatment of hospitalized people requiring inpatient outpatient treatment and 24-hour hospitalization in case of suspected new coronavirus infection (nCoV 2019) in the Republic of Armenia, within the service, regardless of their social status and citizenship.
The Minister’s decree also laid down the rates of reimbursement of services to hospitals;
- Outpatient medical care and service case – 9000 AMD,
- Outpatient medical surveillance, diagnostic specification or 24-hour supervision – 15,000 AMD per day, maximum 150,000 AMD.
The provisions of the decree apply to relations arising from 1 February 2020.
