The case of wiretapping of the telephone conversation between the Prime Minister N. Pashinyan and the former Director of the RA National Security Service A. Vanetsyan and the former SIS Chief of the RA S. Khachatryan and the former Director of the RA National Security Service A. Vanetsyan which were circulated in the web in the period of 11 September through 05 December, 2018; as well as the criminal case instituted on the fact of alleged abuse of their official powers committed by the officials mentioned in the aforesaid wiretappings provided in Article 309, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code. In the context of this the interference in the administration of justice by the judges who examined the detention petitions of Robert Kocharyan and Yuri Khachaturov, is also under consideration.

The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, has been invited as a witness to the Investigative Committee in the connection of this case and interrogated about the circumstances of possible interference with the courts
The proceedings of the General Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia also examines the criminal case on illegal wiretapping and dissemination in the internet, the telephone conversations of the former Director of the RA National Security Service and the SIS Chief, initiated Articles 146 (1) and 254 (3) (4 )of the RA Criminal Code. Within the framework of this case RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was interrogated as a victim for violating his rights and legitimate interests as a result of illegal wiretapping, recording and distribution of video on the Internet, and a number of other circumstances that are interested in the scope of the case.
Both interrogations lasted a total of 2 hours 35 minutes.
