According to the operational reports of the RA Police, in the period of 31 December 2019 to 2 January, 2020, 34 traffic accidents were registered in the republic, as a result of which 47 people received various injuries.

On 1 January, 2020, during the enhanced service in the republic, 56 drivers that used alcoholic beverages were identified, 23 of which in Yerevan.
