Notably, on 26 June, 2018, a criminal case was instituted at the RA National Security Service for illegally obtaining, selling, possessing, transporting, or carrying weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices and narcotics (psychotropic substances), for the purpose of realizing or preparing the illicit circulation or for the purpose of illicitly realizing them.
On July 6, Narek Sargsyan was put on the wanted list and on July 24, he was put on the international wanted list. As a result of extensive operative investigations by various police departments, as well as the Interpol National Bureau in the Republic of Armenia, in cooperation with law enforcement agencies and Interpol in a number of European countries, on 6 December Narek Sargsyan was discovered in the Prague. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is underway.
