Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has arrived in the Russian Federation on a working visit. From the Sochi airport, the prime minister left for St. Sarkis Church in Adler, where Bishop Movses Movsesian, leader of the Armenian diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, spiritual figures of the St. Sargis Church and numerous representatives of the local Armenian community greeted him. They warmly welcomed Nikol Pashinyan and wished him success in the post of RA Prime Minister. The head of the government lit candles and laid flowers at the cross-stones in the church yard.
Addressing representatives of the Armenian community, Nikol Pashinyan particularly noted: “I greet everyone in Sochi, Russia, and wish to say that I am proud of you. Throughout our entire political process, I have felt the breath and support of each of you, and this victory is the victory of each of you, where the Armenian people will be the winner, the Armenian people will eventually return to their homeland. I want to thank the brotherly Russia such conditions created for the Armenian people, but I also want to say that our objective is a great repatriation, our objective is to concentrate the human, financial, economic, spiritual, scientific potential or the considerable part of Armenians in the Republic of Armenia and ensuring security and normal development. I urge Armenian and Russian businessmen in Russia to come to Armenia and make investments, create jobs because currently we have a new Armenia, where each investment will be protected and no investment will be threatened. Today, the reputation of our country, the Armenian people is higher than ever, and all conditions are created to live and be happy in our homeland.
The most important thing I want to say is that in fact you were here, but nevertheless you were in Yerevan at the Republic Square, and most of you were there physically, because I have seen many people here today, that I met in the Republic Square. I want to say that I am happy to see your happy eyes, I am proud of your proud eyes, I serve each of you and no one will doubt that our struggle every day, every week, every year, will bring new victories to Armenia, Armenians and Artsakh. And thus the Armenian people is unite around the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian people is united around the homeland and is resolute, full of energy, to build, flourish and empower Armenia and Artsakh. And I want to say once again that I bow before you, I am proud of each of you, I love and kiss you all.
Long live freedom, long live the Republic of Armenia, long live to you alive and your children, because soon you all will live in free and happy Armenia. There is no doubt that the Armenian-Russian relations will be much stronger, more allied and fraternal.”
