Today, the Armenian Lawyers’ Association (ALA) and “Partnership and Teaching” (P&T) NGO signed a Cooperation Agreement.
“We shall bring together our efforts to develop the capacity of civil society organizations so that they serve the public in a more dedicated and professional manner,” Mr. Karen Zadoyan, President of the ALA said after signing the Agreement, explaining that this document also regulates the implementation of programs aimed at developing the capacity of civil society organizations. It provides free legal assistance to the CSOs as well.
Mr. Artashes Torozyan, the Executive Director of “Partnership and Teaching” NGO said that this agreement creates new opportunities for civil society organizations. “It is really correct when the two organizations are able to combine their efforts in CSO capacity building process. This will increase the efficiency of our activities, and also become the best example in NGO sector I the aspect of efficient use of resources, in terms of coordination of efforts.”
Both parties stressed that the cooperation will have a positive impact on the process of development of civil society.
