An increase of tension was recorded from the night of 12 and to the morning of 13 February on the line of contact of the Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime on the line of contact around 80 times, during which the enemy fired more than 950 shots from D-44 cannons, mortars, grenade launchers and various caliber weapons towards Armenian positions. The Azerbaijani forces fired 13 shells from D-44 cannon in the eastern direction, and a total of 49 shells from 60mm and 82mm mortars and grenade launchers in the northern and southern directions – 41 from mortars and 10 from grenades.
The vanguard units of the Defense Army followed the developments with vigilance and took necessary measures to suppress the Azerbaijan aggression.
