Today, President Serzh Sargsyan had a telephone conversation with the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. The call was initiated by the UN Secretary General.
During the conversation, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed regret that his visit to Armenia has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
Secretary General noted the importance of peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict and expressed his full support to the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
President Sargsyan noted that the Armenia public had been waiting for the Secretary General’s visit, and expressed hope that the visit will be carried out within the mutually agreed new terms.
