On the eve of April 21st through the morning of the 22nd along the northeastern border of the NKR-Azerbaijan border, there have been 27 incidents of ceasefire violations. Azerbaijan used weapons and artillery of different calibers against Armenians in a sporadic nature. In addition to artillery weapons, Azerbaijan used 60 mm (6 shells) and 82 mm (3 shells) mortars and HAN-17 grenade launchers (2 grenades).
The vanguard units of the RA Army showed restraint, taking responsive actions only in case of urgent necessity and confidently controlling the situation on border.
