On the eve of April 20th through the morning of the 21st along the northeastern border of the NKR-Azerbaijan border, there have been 16 incidents of ceasefire violations. Azerbaijan used weapons and artillery of different calibers against Armenians in a sporadic nature.
The RA Defense Force frontline subdivisions restrained the attacks and retaliated only as necessary, confidently controlling the situation along the border.
According to information received by the NKR Defense Forces, on the eve of April 20th through the morning of the 21st, there have not been any changes in operational situation along the confrontation zone between NKR and Azerbaijan. Along the entire frontline of the conflict zone, over 70 violations of the ceasefire agreement have occurred. More intensive violations were recorded in the south (Hadrut), east (Akna), and northeastern (Martakert) directions. In the northeastern direction, in addition to artillery weapons, 60mm mortars (2 shells) and AOP17 type grenade launchers (2 shells) were also used by Azerbaijan.
The subdivisions of the defense army control their positions along the border and respond accordingly to the situation at the front line.
