On the night of April 11-12, the Azerbaijani side released fire, from rifles and heavy artillery, at Armenian positions located on the north-eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani national border. RA Ministry of Defense reports.

The RA AF frontline subdivisions have exercised restraint, retaliated only in cases of strict necessity, and confidently pursue monitoring the situation on the border.

In accordance with the situational report conveyed by the NKR DA, on the night of April 11-12, the verbal agreement on ceasefire in the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact-line has generally been preserved. Cases of various caliber weapon and mortar uses have been registered in different areas. Positions established in the northeastern (Martakert) and southeastern (Hadrut) sections of the contact line were attacked with 82mm (3 missiles) and 60mm (4 missiles) mortars, as well as AGS-17 grenade launchers (17 missiles). Throughout the night, the enemy has also explored the area via UAVs, in the northern, southern, and eastern directions.

DA subdivisions remained vigilant toward enemy activities and undertook adequate steps when imperative.

The situation at this moment is calm.
