Today, the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kotayk Marz, presiding Judge Vaghinak Mkrtchyan ruled an acquittal verdict.
N.B. was charged under Article 177, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code for a group theft of a hydraulic pump. The accused was detained for nearly a year, and then the detention was replaced by pledge. His lawyer Khachatur Khachatryan told us. “At the trial stage, it appeared that grounded doubts were missing. As a result of a long struggle evidence as such came out.”
The Prosecutor motioned for 3 years of imprisonment: The Court ruled an acquittal verdict.
