December 10 is a Holiday

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a declaration adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 10 December 1948 and since 1950, December 10 is celebrated as the International Day of Human Rights.

The declaration is translated into more than 360 languages.

Human rights and fundamental freedoms are enshrined in the RA Constitution.

The institute of ombudsman has been established in Armenia.
