A little before the Chief of the Center Police Department informed the ombudsman’s representatives that if no dangerous objects are found with the activist detainees, they will be released soon without subjecting any responsibility. The HRD staff informs about this.
It is due to mention that the member of “Founding Parliament” Gevorg Safaryan called ombudsman hot-line during the arrest at Freedom Square and informed that he was being taken to the Police department.
Then Karo Yeghnukyan also called the hot-line and said that another citizen Mikayel Nahapetyan was also taken to the Police department.
At this moment the ombudsman’s representatives are at the Center Police Department, where they had a private conversation with two detainees. And just at the department they informed that an activist was also detained and they met him, too.
Now another group of ombudsman’s representatives is at Freedom Square and follows at the process of the meeting.
