President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a condolence letter over the Moscow-Yerevan bus crash in the Tula Oblast on the Don highway. The president also gave a number of instructions to the authorized bodies. The Official website of the RA President informs.
The condolence letter reads as follows:
“Dear compatriots,
It is with great pain that I learned of the Moscow-Yerevan bus crash in Tula Oblast and its irreversible consequences. Tonight, our people and each of us suffered a great loss. In this difficult moment, I extend my sympathy and condolences to the victims’ families, relatives and friends. I wish all the injured a speedy recovery.”
With regard to the Moscow-Yerevan bus crash, Armenia’s president instructed the authorized law-enforcement bodies to urgently undertake necessary legal procedures in order to reveal the circumstances of the crash within their authority, in cooperation with the relevant bodies of the Russian Federation.
Serzh Sargsyan also instructed the authorized bodies to propose, in a brief period of time, a program on considerably increasing the security of inter-state bus transportation from the territory of Armenia that will be based on the crash causes and on broader and comprehensive investigations.
The Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian Embassy in the Russian Federation were instructed to take measures to provide needed support to the families of the victims and the injured, as well as to ensure a full-scale medical aid.
