The protest action of “No to Plunder!” Civil Initiative started. Maksim Sargsyan, the member of the initiative referred to the developments in June.
He reminded that Serzh Sargsyan had said that the Government will undertake the whole burden of raising the tariffs, however, according to the demonstrator the Government has misled the people and do not fulfill its promise.
He noted that the business representatives and even the citizens are forced to sign contracts according to which they shall pay the former price.
“The electricity price will increase again, which will affect everyone’s pocket, only this time we are going to clear and sole cancellation, in this case, we will go to the end,” mentioned the member of the Initiative.
One of the speakers claimed that the government has begun to put pressure on the members of the initiative.
According to Arthur Kocharyan, a member of the initiative said that in a number of regions the electricity price is collected with the raised price. “ENA’s illegal actions lead to repetition of what happened two months ago, responsibility of the entire process is on Hovik Abrahamyan and Serzh Sargsyan. The key for resolving the problem is here in the street. Keep your audits and advisory bodies for you dear gentlemen!” he said.
