Serzh Sargsyan, President of the Republic of Armenia signed a decree on the extension of the military service term of Yuri Khachaturov the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia has been prolonged for 4 years.
“Governed by Clause 12 of Article 55 of the Constitution of the republic of Armenia, and based upon Point 1 of Clause 1 of Article 14 of the Republic of Armenia Law on Military Service, I decide to:
Extent the military service term of Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov the chief of staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia from 30 July 2013 till 1 May 2017,” the decree reads.
