The issue of Armenian businessman Levon Hayrapetyan,currently detained in Russia, is in the center of the Russia`s acting Human Rights Defender Ella Pamfilova`s attention. Armenia`s Human Rights Defender`s representative got this information from the Office of Russia`s Human Rights Defender.
Russia`s acting Human Rights Defender has submitted necessary queries to the respective state bodies to learn the foundations of keeping the businessman in detention in the presence of serious health problems.
Marking the importance of the fruitful cooperation with Armenia`s Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan, the representative of Russia`s Human Rights Defender has assured that currently steps are being undertaken and the results will be additionally transmitted.
