Within the framework of “The Church and the Law” series of interviews, Iravaban.net  talked about the Holy Trinity with Father Shahe Hayrapetyan, the priest of the Ararat St. Sargis Vicarial Church of the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese.

– Who is the Holy Trinity?

– Looking at the entire Old Testament, the Holy Trinity is an eternal category, because from the very beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and it is said that the Spirit of God is moving over the waters. In the word “in the beginning was” the clergy often see the very Word of God that is Christ, the Creator with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Regarding the Holy Spirit, God says: I will go away, the comforting Holy Spirit will come and he will remind you. And so it happened, when tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them during the resurrection, they began to speak in different languages. And those countries were delivered in the languages ​​they spoke. What is the purpose of the Holy Trinity, so that we can restore our former image, former glories, from the mistake made by man, which was made in heaven?

– Is it possible now that the Holy Spirit appears to someone, because it is said that the Holy Spirit appeared and began to speak in some language?

– You are talking about a sect called the Adventist sect or the Baptists and some of the Protestant branches, where the actions of the ancient Greek mysteries are used. In ancient Greece, these actions were called catharsis, which means to be cleansed. They gathered in the amphitheater and there were performances and at the end a sacrifice was made, the bull was sacrificed and they even judged who sacrificed the bull and in the end they found that the knife was the culprit and threw the knife into the Aegean Sea. It all led to the people in that amphitheater of states of ecstasy, who at the end said they were cleansed. Therefore, any sect has ecstasy, during which the jaws begin to move, the teeth grinds, and it seems that they are speaking in foreign languages.

– The Holy Trinity is confused with polytheism. Please tell me, what does the one nature of the trinity mean?

– Jehovah’s Witnesses often talk about this, saying: how is that, there are three persons in one nature? The Father does not act without the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Son does not act without the Father and the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit does not act without the Father and the Son, it is one nature. The mighty, almighty force is still in effect today. Many people come, receive treatment, get married, and are baptized in the Holy Church. And it is impossible to stop it by bringing different theories. Now the world is moving toward a relative religion, especially with this phenomenon of artificial intelligence, which is a mixture of Gnosticism, Christianity, Buddhism, and Totemism. It is Babylon itself, mixed Babylon, a religion is brought that is not recognized, that is, there is no clear idea of ​​God.

– At the time of the Holy Trinity, there were also sharp disputes among the Christians themselves. For example, Protestants deny the Holy Trinity. To what extent is the idea of ​​the Holy Trinity?

– It is interesting that when the Protestants came to Armenia, they did everything to prove that they are the same as our church, accept the Holy Trinity, and recognize the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Let them decide what they are like, but that masking does not save them from being a sect.
