According to Preliminary Data, Masoud Pezeshkian won the Presidential Elections in Iran

Reformist Masoud Pezeshkian won the second round of the presidential election. After all the ballots were counted, according to preliminary results, Masoud Pezeshkian received 16,384,403 votes or at least 53.6 percent of the total votes, becoming the 9th elected president of modern Iran.

His rival, the conservative Saeed Jalili collected 13,538,179 votes or 44.3 percent of the votes.

The level of participation of the population in the second round of the election of the 14th president was 49.8 percent.
