The Iranian President’s visit to Turkey has been postponed

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has postponed his visit to Turkey scheduled for 4 January due to the terrorist attack in the Iranian city of Kerman on Wednesday, which led to the death of more than a hundred people, IRNA reported, citing Mohammad Jamshidi, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Political Affairs to I.R. Iran President .

Raisi had a telephone conversation with Turkish President Erdoğan regarding postponing the visit.

During the visit, Raisi was supposed to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and then participation at the  8th Türkiye-Iran High Level Cooperation Council meeting was scheduled to be chaired by Raisi and Erdoğan.
