40-year-old Samvel Sargsyan, forcibly displaced from Artsakh, says that it is impossible to live with the enemy, the bodies of some of his family members are still in the trenches. In the framework of “Artsakh: Armenian Genocide 2023. Stories of Survivors” documentary project of Iravaban.net, the man told how the attack of Azerbaijan started on 19 September. Samvel says that subversive groups have infiltrated the territories under Armenian rule from all directions.
“We found ourselves in wandering. Did we want to leave Karabakh and enter Armenia? Do you know what people have lost, we came here, and we live under the tents. What shall we do? We somehow preserve our existence,” Samvel Sargsyan said and added that he had suffered for 30 years, built a house, and then left it and came to Armenia.
