42,500 Forcibly Displaced People from Artsakh have already crossed the Border of Armenia

As of 8:00 on September 27, 42,500 forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh crossed the RA border, of which 22,800 were registered.  Nazeli Baghdasaryan, Press Secretary of the Prime Minister reported.

She mentioned that around 4002 people used the accommodation facilities provided by the state. “This is the first aid, for us, at the moment, the main goal is to provide the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh with a certain accommodation, after which other places of residence will be allocated,” she said.

Nazeli Baghdasaryan also presented the distribution of forcibly displaced citizens from Artsakh by regions.

“The rest of the citizens wanted to organize their living issues on their own, but this does not mean that the state refuses to take care of them further,” the Prime Minister’s spokesperson said.

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Narek Mkrtchyan, presents the progress of support provided by the “Humanitarian Center” of the Government to our compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh.
