The negotiations of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan are taking place in Washington without the participation of Russia, therefore, Moscow cannot comment on that process. The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova stated. RIA Novosti reports.

The diplomat noted that when the participants of the negotiations make relevant statements, each side expresses itself; it will be possible to form an opinion and make a comment.

Zakharova once again emphasized the importance of the implementation of tripartite agreements.

“As before, we are committed to the implementation of all provisions of the tripartite agreements reached between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia during 2020-2022,” Zakharova said.

As for the prospect of the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the territory of Russia, Zakharova noted that, as was announced in the previous briefing, Yerevan and Baku expressed readiness for such a meeting.

“We will announce the dates later,” concluded Zakharova.
